Mini - Reunions

Stan Neander and Judy Browder drove East to visit
kinfolk in the New Haven, CT area and to carrouse old haunts in the Albany, NY
vicinity. They detoured to spend a memorable day with Bobbie and Jack Akin in
New London, NH, bringing sunshine to an otherwise rainy, fog-ridden weather
pattern. Many tales were rekindled, as we reflected on past and
present.

Jack & Bobbie Akin, Burt & Lucille
Weymouth, Helen Bixby, Bob & Molly Murphy, Chuck & Sally Mull, and Bill
& Yvonne Wright gathered at the Oar House in Portsmouth, NH yesterday for
another catch-up fun time over lobster. The weather was perfect, the food sumptuous,
and the company rollicking as guys and gals reminisced, and remembered past
pranks with Ken Bixby, now gone. Helen still drives, at 85; Bill narrates his
parrot tales, and Jack paraded his new ice cream/all bran nightly diet dessert.

Posted 4/14/03: (Mini-Reunion of 35th Company)
When Bill and Yvonne come up from Georgia, the 35th Company
partys in Newburyport, MA. We figure one of these times we'll make it a real
wing-ding and include the many other New Englanders we haven't seen in a while -
for a regular Nor'Easter.
