CAPT SHERMAN C. REED, USN - NOV. 25, 2014

Sherm graduated from M.I.T. in 1955, and taught there. He was President of the Orleans (MA) Tax Association, and worked for the Federal Emergency Management Agency.He worked tirelessly for his community, was labelled a "think tank", and was known in town for his intellect and impact.
 
MR JACQUES F. TREVILLYAN, USN - NOV. 22, 2014

He was decorated for meritorious service in the Korean War aboard ship supporting the Inchon landing. As a civilian,he was  successful in a variety  of positions in the business community.

COL GEORGE G. DERANIAN, USAF - OCT. 27, 2014

George received an MBA from the University of Connecticut in1963. After a tour of duty in Viet Nam he was assigned to Maxwell AFB as Director of Space in the Warfare Systems School. One of his final tours of duty was at Hanscom AFB, MA, as Commanding Officer of over 24,000 personnel stationed throughout the world.

Ted was aboard U.S.S. Porter off Korea, and taught mathematics at USNA thereafter. He held various middle management and director responsibilities with U. S. Steel during his active civilian career, worked for many community and youth programs.
CDR THOMAS W. ROBINSON, USN - AUG. 26, 2014

Tom graduated from MIT in 1955 with a degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. He was assigned to the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard in Hawaii, and later to the U.S.S. Bon Homme Richard as Main Propulsion Officer. He was then assigned to Mare Island Naval Shiyard where he aided in the design and construction of he SSN Class of Nuclear Attack submarines. In retirement he owned and operated the private firm of Olympia Forensic Engineering, offering conclusions on the reason for maritime accidents.
 
1LT WILLIAM W. MCCREEDY, USAF - MAY 30, 2014

Bill served with valor during the Korean War as a pilot of C-54's, transporting troops and supplies, and evacuating the wounded. He was awarded the Air Medal for meritorious achievement, and later resigned in 1953 after serving as an ROTC instructor at RPI.
 
COL HAROLD V. WALSH, JR., USAF - MAY 22, 2014

Hal was a career USAF fighter pilot, and a Korean War veteran with over 100 combat missions. He retired as Commander of the 177th Fighter Interceptor Group of the New Jersey Air National Guard.

U.S.S. BAUSELL; Staff in ComPhibLant in U.S.S. POCONO through 1954. Then Manager, Philadelphia Sales District, Trane Corporation; thereafter owner of Binnion Trane Associates in Philadelphia.
1LT GEORGE A. ZETKOV, USAF - MAR. 14, 2014

L.B."A solidly built, but roughly finished product of Ossining High School, Major came to the Naval Academy after spending ten months in the Marine Corps. Later, engineering became important to him, and photography became his hobby. Major's willingness to learn and his fine traits of character are certain to carry him far in the Navy." After receiving his wings he flew T-29 Trainers at Mather AFB, CA and KB-29 refueling tankers at Bergstrom AFB, TX., before retiring in1954. He received an MS in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University in 1956, then worked for Sperry Gyroscope, Grumman Aerospace Corp. and various astronautic programs for NASA.

CAPT ROBERT R. JEFFERSON, USN - MAR. 01, 2014

Robert served as a communications officer for 27 years with tours in the Pacific, Korea and Japan, was a liaison during the Cuban Missile Crisis, commanded in the Sixth Fleet in the Mediterranean, and served in Viet Nam. He earned an MBA Degree at American University in DC.
 
LT PAISLEY BONEY III, USN - FEB. 03, 2014

He served on USS MISSOURI 1950-1952 and on USS PUTNAM 1952-1954; and obtained an MBA degree in Business Administration at Harvard Graduate School. He spent four years as a sales engineer with Westinghouse Electric Corporation, then joined a mortgage and banking firm as Assistant Secretary. He eventualy retired from the Haskell Company in Jacksonville, Florida.
VADM THOMAS J. BIGLEY, USN - JAN. 27, 2014

Tom served on USS ENGLISH, Korea, 1951; following submarine school he served on AMBERJACK, ATULE and TANG. He commanded USS Bream; served on staffs of ComSubDiv 121, ComSubRon 12; and served in the Directorate for Plans and Policy of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He received an MA degree at American University and attended the National War College. He then commanded USS Sampson and returned to Washington as Exec. Asst. to the Vice Chief of Naval Operations. He assumed command of the Middle East Force in the Persian Gulf/Arabian Sea/Indian Ocean, served as Deputy Commander of the Pacific Fleet, DCNO Logistics; then as Commander of U.S. Second Fleet Atlantic and finally as Director for Plans and Policy for the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
CDR PETER W. WOOD, USN - JAN. 08, 2014

L.B."While others dragged, you would find Pete at the wheel of a yawl. Always able to see the brighter side, his witty remarks brightened the dark ages for everyone." He obtained at PHD at Shelbourne University and became Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Booz Allen Hamilton.
