Nuclear Engineering at Iowa State College, he was an instrument flight
training instructor at NAS North Island and NAS Miramar 1958-1960; then on
the Staff, ComFAir Japan, NAS Atsugi, 1960-1963. Retiring in 1969, he
founded and managed Ricci Investment Realty in Centerbrook, CT.

CDR. RICHARD O. MOBERLY, JR.,
USN - AUG. 30, 2005

(LB) "He .. earned a position
on the Varsity Basketball Squad. The spring would find him spending most
of his free time across the Severn on the golf course." After getting
his wings, Dick was in Trinidad, British West Indies for three years,
recruiting duty in Nashville, TN, followed by a tour with Fleet
Intelligence Center, Europe, NAS Port Lyautey, Morocco, and retired to
Orange Park, FL.

DR. KENNETH R. VANDERVENNET -
JUL. 24, 2005

(LB) "He never lacked the
ability to laugh off hardship, and chuckle provoking, indeed, were his
narratives and repartee. When Ken sets his sights, all obstacles crumble
beneath his boundless ambition and energy." He served in the Air
Force for four years, retired as a First Lieutenant, then received his
medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, followed
by a general surgery practice in Newport News, VA, retiring in 2002.

CAPT. FLOYD R. MUCK, USN (RET)
- JUN. 27, 2005

Bob served in both destroyers and
submarines, including the nuclear submarine Theodore Roosevelt. He
commanded two submarines, a submarine division and the destroyer tender Prairie.
He served in the office of the Chief of Naval Operations, and graduated
from the National War College. His numerous medals and citations include
the Legion of Merit and the Meritorious Service Medal.

DR. DALE J. CHODOS - JUN. 1,
2005
Dale left the Academy after Plebe
year, and attended Carroll College in Helena, MT where he earned an AB in
chemistry; the St. Louis School of medicine, where he received his MD
degree; and National Institute of Health at the University of Utah. He
retired as Executive Director with Upjohn Company of Kalamazoo in 1987
after 25 years of distinguished service.

LTC GEORGE R. LOFTIS,

LB "Rollo was the butt
of many a joke about his liking for Navy hash, but he took it all with the
characteristic ease that made him the possessor of Bancroft's finest sense
of humor - and he still insists the hash is good". He had retired
with 22 years of military service. He had received an MS Degree in
Engineering from USC and a JD Degree from the Law School. He was a member
of the State Bar of California and specialized in Intellectual Property
Law.

LCDR ROBERT L. LOETSCHER, USN
- APR. 17, 2005

He had served as a boatswain's mate
in World War II and served in the Supply Corps from 1950 - 1954. He
resigned in 1954 to join Shell Oil Company in Baltimore, MD as a sales
engineer. Bob received his Masters Degree in Business Administration from
the University of Wisconsin. He remained there as a Professor of
Engineering in 1957, held several executive positions thereafter, and
retired to Florida in 1991.
